Our Villas

The Haunui Village has 14 villas, each with their own outdoor space surrounding a glorious shared garden. Villas are either one or two bedrooms and all have their own garage, the majority attached to the property. There are two styles of villas – lovely traditional style permanent material cottages and more modern brick villas. All are spacious, well-appointed and accessible with walk in showers. Haunui also has a new build two bedroom house with a study and a double garage which was completed in July 2023 and is adjacent to the village.

Ensuring all our villas are warm and dry is very important to us. We have used the government’s Healthy Homes Standard for rental properties to guide our programme of ensuring all villas are appropriately heated, insulated and ventilated.

Our Community

Our village is located right in the heart of the Darfield township meaning we are very much part of the community. We are within five minutes’ walk of the supermarket, pharmacy, shops, café and bakery and within easy reach of the library and medical centre.

Most of our residents have long associations with the area and the central location of the village allows them to continue being active in the community as we are in easy reach of the meeting centres, churches, bowls club and other recreational facilities such as the Darfield pool.
